The Sunny Boy series from German manufacturer are the most popular grid-tie inverters in Europe. The recently-introduced SB-1200 replaces the SB-1100, and is one of the most sought-after inverters for small arrays.

Connection to the DC side is with standard PV connectors of the type we sell. As they are IP65 rated, the inverters can be mounted outside if desired.

Sunny Boy Inverters remove the need for a separate DC isolator by including an 'Electronic Solar Switch' (ESS) giving savings in both installation time and cost.

All Sunny Boy inverters we sell have the necessary G83 certificate to allow connection to UK mains systems, so can be used in MCS accredited installations.
