Mastervolt's Soladin inverter is designed for low powered strings of solar panels, up to a total power of 700W. For larger systems, a number of Soladins can be connected in parallel.
There are a number of advantages to using smaller string inverters of this type.
- Each individual string operates at a relatively low voltage, improving safety
- Solar panels on different strings can be oriented differently, unlike a single - string array
- The system is less affected by shading when a number of small strings are used

The Soladin 600 is compact and equipped with 230V and DC connectors for easy plug-and-play installation. All Soladins are fitted with a communication port for remote monitoring and have an advanced yield indicator at the front. The wide input range makes them a flexible system solution. It must be noted that these are not the quietest inverters available - usually no problem in a loft, but not ideal for installation in a living space.
